PASC14 will have 7 plenary speakers, 1 public lecture, 62 contributed talks, and 77 posters related to the five different PASC areas plus one dedicated to computer science & mathematics.
Additionally, the conference includes an information event dedicated to users of the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS).
You can now download a booklet with the agenda of the conference.
A contributed talk is a 20-minute presentation, which will be grouped by the organizers with other contributed talks into the two-hour parallel sessions each morning and afternoon of the conference. Presenters are asked to submit their titles, abstract (600 words or less), author and affiliation data, and speaker designation data (in the case of multiply-authored papers) using the abstract submission procedure. The submission of talks is now closed, but you can still submit posters until April 23, 2014 (at 12:00 noon).
Based on experience from previous events, poster sessions are one of the most important aspects of the conference. Several collaborations have resulted from the informal discussions held at these sessions. Posters should be put up on the morning of Monday, June 2 and remain posted until the end of the meeting on Tuesday, June 3.
